What we need is a Rift Golem that protects against dives

A cool golem instead of this atrocious anti laneswap design.

Hear me out:

The Rift Golem is in statis but senses the energy from champions near the tower. It is from the arcane or hextech or runic so lorewise it will work. The Golem comes to live when the total xp difference is too high (counts xp from all nearby champions and visually you see it charging up, sapping the energy).

The golem feeds on the energy of more champions and buffs the tower from the swapped on side. Delivers a few hits here and there.

It also places a zone to help the dived champion. We rotate zones per patch or per map and think of: graves smoke, poppy dash block, gwen mist, braum unbreakable. We can get creative with it.

If the golem kills a diver their whole team gets a yellow text message that states: ok (plottwist he is not a golem but Rammus' uncle)

And that champion killed now transforms into a kitten yuumi until it dies, but it can only attach to minions.

After 4 minutes the Golem (that is actually an armordillo as we established) slowly moves to the jungle and tries to steal one camp of the winning jungler. That jungler probably needs to use smite which gives the other team a slight comeback edge at the next objective.

Then the golem parades to botlane, skipping mid other than flaunting a respectful emote.

In the botlane the golem stands, menacingly, and takes a bit of time to calculate support to adc proximity plus the supports deaths. Mage supports get weighed heavier. If the technology allows for it we give the adcs both some time for their pleads. The adc with the worst support gets +5% armor pen for the rest of the game.

The golem then sends a final "ok" to everyone and sinks back into the Rift.
