Lego table?

I like to build lego sets on the couch while my wife and I watch tv. I currently use two tray tables with towels on them to try and control bouncing pieces and losing parts. Does anyone have a better solution? Anyone find tray tables with raised edges or a product with this in mind? What are your solutions for this very specific problem?
