Sales Navigator and GDPR

I want to use the Sales Navigator in the EU. By law, you aren't allowed to cold-contact people and businesses. If I use the Sales Navigator to contact potential prospects on LinkedIn via Connect / InMail (I don't export my leads, phone numbers, e-mail addresses, ...), am I allowed to do so without getting consent at first?

IMHO, if I register on LinkedIn, I'm aware that my data is processed and I agree to interact with other people (that's the point of a social network). I guess that gettig contacted by other people via the Sales Navigator is part of their terms of service. Am I right?

Nevertheless, I didn't find anything helpfull, even their support just answered my inquiry with two links to LinkedIn's help center without specifically answering my question.
