The amount of people who expect solo Tanks to both push AND peel for support is wild.

Don't get me wrong, its very possible that this could just be a skill issue (especially when I'm playing Magneto). But so many people seem to think it is a solo Tank's job to be everywhere at once. Pushing up and making space, creating a distraction for the DPS, while simultaneously holding back and protecting the supports from dives. Even in Diamond I get flamed fairly regularly for not peeling as a Solo tank when we're in the middle of a teamfight.

If there's a second Tank, then I don't mind taking half a second out of a fight to bubble a support as Magneto or put up a wall to shut down enemy heals as Groot or push the Diver away as Thor but as a solo Tank is it unreasonable that I expect the rest of the team to take care of it? I feel like if I peel as a solo tank then the DPS might as well peel too which instantly gives up a ton of space, or they're probably just all gonna die immediately.

Am I putting too much faith in the support? Not enough in the DPS? Should I be sacrificing a bit of the push to peel for supports? I've gotten flamed so much for being a bad solo Tank that I'm genuinely wondering if I'm doing it wrong. But I just feel like you sacrifice so much even using a single cooldown trying to repel a dive as a solo Tank. Let me know your thoughts.
