Tips/How should I be playing Thor?

Just started playing a week ago n started playing comp last night, after trying out a few characters I started to main Thor he's been my favorite to play so far. Anyways tho I wanted to know some tips and tricks or strategy on how to play better for the team with Thor to rank up? I usually try to push enemy Tanks into my team and focus on solo healers n backline do some damage n hopefully kills and get back to healers but I should I be doing that or should I stay n protect my backline ? Anything is appreciated!
