Help!

Hii! I’m newer to the 2nd game & I’m currently playing on my phone. I was wondering if anyone knew how I could get more things from the shop? I see everyone with pretty eyes and these certain lips that are gorgeous !!! How do I find more? Is it from past events? Help please 😥
