Featherweight artifact disappeared on unequip

As title says, newer player. I unequipped so i could look at options in the gypsum kiln. It never appeared in my inventory. I reset the game hoping that would fix it. Now its nowhere to be seen. Any ideas? Not even close to unencumbered
