Lack of Direct Connectivity Between G.N. and Faridabad
I was reviewing the NCR map and noticed a significant infrastructure gap. There is no direct road connection between Noida and Gurugram without passing through Delhi via the DND route. The only natural barrier is the Yamuna River, which, given modern engineering capabilities, should not be a major constraint.
A direct road linking Faridabad Industrial Township and Noida NSEZ, with a bridge over the Yamuna, could reduce the travel distance by nearly one-third and significantly cut travel time by bypassing Delhi’s congestion. This would enhance connectivity, improve economic efficiency, and ease commuter movement between two key business hubs.
Given these clear benefits, what have been the barriers to implementing such a project so far?
