No audio when using Nivida broadcast as my mic input

Someone told me to use Nvida broadcast to enable actual noise supression in OBS but when I switch my mic input to the Nivida Broadcast virtual mic suddenly OBS goes deaf and won't pick up my audio anymore.

I have my Mic selected in Nvida broadcast and when I use the built in test feature everything works as I want it to. But nothing goes through to OBS. Does this mean I have to use Shadow Play to stream now? Shadow Play can't stream to youtube anymore so using Nvida broadcast seems a dead end at this point

Edit: I've read some posts from 4 months ago saying Nvida broadcast is broke on win 11. But I'm not on 11 I'm still on 10.
