I really want to travel to Pakistan with my besties, but I'm concerned over my safety

So, I've befriended 2 Pakistani girls recently, and we've bonded very closely, as much as they say they would love to go with me to Pakistan somewhere in the future when we all have the money and time. The thing is, I am not sure how to convince my husband and parents that it would be safe for me to go with my friends. Aside from following the local customs and traditions in terms of clothing, behavior, respect and other things, what should be taken into consideration to ensure the safest traveling experience? What are the subtle/not-so-much-talked-about nuances that should be kept in mind?
