Continued drinking after acute pancreatitis?
So I know that obviously drinking after a diagnosis is a bad idea, and certainly not worth the risk. That being said, I'd like to ask a question to those that have continued to drink anyways. I want to know, has anyone actually had just one instance of acute pancreatitis, and continued to drink in any amount, moderately/occasionally/heavily, and have yet to have another instance of pancreatitis? Please no "drinking is cerain death", that's not what I'm asking. I know the risks. All I hear is the risks. I want to know, specifically, have any of you been able to continue drinking at any amount after a single episode and have yet to have another? This is being asked purely for curiosity and wanting to hear if there's actually anyone who's been lucky enough to do so. Thanks.
EDIT: Thank you so much to everyone for your responses, sharing your stories, and overall keeping things civil! This is all so new to me, so it's nice to hear from people who are going through the same journey. Stay strong, everybody!
