Bruising and Pain 10 Days After Donation
I completed my second donation (first really because the first time 2 weeks prior, I had a reaction not even 10 min in) on Saturday, Sept 7th. This time, we had to switch arms halfway around through because there was no flow. Towards the end of the donation, they said I was starting to get a hematoma, so they could not give me back my red blood cells or saline. Anyways… 10 days later I still have bruising and pain to the touch or when I straighten my arm. It’s so weird to me that the bruising is all over, even near my elbow. Has anyone had this happen?
