Despite the flack this series gets, I'll give credit where credit's due, this scene legit single handedly got me hooked on the pokemon anime again after years of not being into pokemon. And I gotta thank it (story in description)
I had recently gotten back into pokemon with sword at the time and decided to watch the Netflix series after I completed the game, which was my first time finishing a pokemon game ever. I started to watch horizons on Netflix and was enjoying what the series had, not feeling too into it near the begining, however I started to like it more after the Leon galar episodes; I started to get hooked on it, but then this episode came. Not only did I like the growth between goh and scorbunny, but I also loved seeing the growth of scorbunny trying to learn a new move. The whole learning with its feet was really cool, learning ember and all, but man when he started evolving... I don't know how to say it man. I loved how intrecite the transformation is, the animation, ost, and seeing raboot right after as well and how much of a contrast the design was, like seeing raboot right after scorbunny felt like such a natural progression of design, not to mention seeing how different it's personality was afterwards was super cool too. It literally incompused everything I loved about pokemon and specifically evolution. I know this may be a bit too much sentiment, but I genuinely was glued to the series after this episode.
