Should I completely change my career plan? (Can I even possibly do it?)
I'm in my second year of a bachelors degree in social work in Ontario, Canada. I've always thought that I would end up doing law or a masters in social work after I graduate my bachelors, but recently l've found some interest in dentistry. I know I probably sound delusional but I want to know more about dentistry, specifically for people without a science background. I'm not completely delusional as I know the degree is extremely hard especially without a science background but is it impossible? If I really put in the work I can take most of the course requirements for dental school within my own bachelors and maybe only take an extra class or 2. Realistically what are my prospects, should I even think about it or should I just do something that's related to my current degree. While this hasn't been a long time dream for me I would like to learn more about it and see if it's possible to pursue. (Also for context there are only 10 dental schools in Canada and I wouldn’t want to leave Canada because of international school fees)
