please stop sending baby blankets 😭

I'm an asshole. But three people in my family have sewn over 50 baby blankets and burp cloths in addition to ones we got previously as hand me downs from friends (two big boxes) and as gifts. It's like everyone has to out-quilt the others and meanwhile we are still buying stuff we actually need. I know it's nice to have a big stash and obviously going to donate and pass on as many as possible. But there is no good way to say we have enough because a lot of these are surprise gifts. No more!! Can we just normalize asking what people need.
