Job Market Sucks and Feeling Depressed
I dropped out of college in 2019 due to mental health complications I had while pursuing a computer engineering degree, and I got a job at my school Library working with computers and databases before quitting in 2020 due to low wages ($11 dollars an hour). I've tried applying to so many tech jobs these past couple years only to be rejected. The companies that bothered to call back for an interview stated afterwards that since my current job (Airport worker) isn't in tech, the hiring team thinks you're no longer a tech guy. I feel hopeless. I wish America had it's own version of Canada's MAID law.
