Toyota center parking

Hey gang, going to the Rockets/wolves game edit: TOMORROW with my son and I am very unfamiliar with downtown Houston. I’m looking for a good/cheap parking option. I’ve heard about parking near the light rail and riding it to a stop near the Toyota center. Would anyone be willing to please explain to me how this works?
