I come from the Bay Area where a croissant can cost you 7-8$ with tax and more because they flip their screen for tips.

The baked goods and pastries in Korea are absolutely insane and puts America to shame how they monetize and up charge their customers in a ridiculous amount. Sure we make more significantly but you can tell the difference how much taxes Koreans pay actually go back to the society like the sun umbrellas, clean streets and public restrooms, robust public transportation and more.

It really is true, America is the poorest first world country
