Bought a System What Could I Sell it for?
Hi -
So perhaps I feel sucker to one of those companies that sells the panel system, install, etc.
Guy came and knocked on my door, sold me on a system and I ended up spending around $35K on the panels and install. I've already accepted that I'm going to lose money on this.
But is it possible to individually sell my panels use that to pay off some of the loan and then eat the rest of the loan cost? I just feel like I got sold a system and a pie in the sky panel network that would offset my current power bill. Yet nothing has really changed.
Help pls
EDIT 1 - Hi everyone and thanks for your replies. I must apologize at the time of my posting I was just very frustrated. So here is some pertinent info.
I have 18 panels, I believe it’s supposed to generate 19kw/hr. My house faces north east, and the panels are on the back side of my roof. They are the furthest right if you’re looking head on. Sun usually rises behind my house and sets on the front. My roof is never not in the sun, EXCEPT, The place the contractor installed the panels. Most of the panels are covered by a large branch from a neighbors tree who I’ve tried to ask to trim/pay for and he wishes not to do so.
If I can get my provider to move my panels 20 feet to the left. All panels will be exposed to the sun for 80% of the day, year round.
Where I haven’t seen a return - I was promised my power bill would be almost net zero. It’s maybe gone down $40. I’ve had the panels almost 2 years.
