Naltrexone

I have been trying to manage my drinking pretty seriously for the last year and a half. I got a random email from my insurance company and it mentioned that naltrexone is covered for weight loss. At this point I will pretty much try anything so I set up an online consultation- I have also gained some weight that I would like to lose. I would love to get perspectives from people who have tried Naltrexone. Did it work? What do I need to know? Any advice?
