Kitchen remodel expenses on business account
Soo long story short we have an HVAC business that our office is in our home. We run the business from our home. We are only a small family run business with 4 employees. So we remodeled our kitchen and now my accountant is looking at our bank statements like what is this $8,000 kitchen appliances cost from Home Depot and the slab countertops and all this so how do I explain this purchase or make it able to be paid for from the business? I don’t know what to say. Like I feel like I already messed up by purchasing it from the business account but oh well. The damage is done so how do I explain it or fix it or come up with some reason to validate the purchase ?
Edit: Home Depot credit card was used for appliances. Usually we use that credit card for buying tools and materials for jobs.
We are LLC file as S Corp. I believe.
