All I can remember is a scene where he is selling a watch.

I saw it at an exhibition at ACMI in Melbourne, where someone spliced together hundreds of movie clips all featuring a clock or watch, resulting in a 24h film of sorts that just ran continuously for a few months. This was like 10 years ago so I'm just going off what I scribbled down at the time.
