Maxi's letters

I guess I got a little confused here, but how many letters did Maxi send from Nornui? The two letters that got rejected - does it mean she didn't get to send them at all, or that she simply had to rewrite them before she could send them, like with the last one? If they got rejected completey, then she was only able to send three letter in total Also, I wonder why she didn't send one soon after arrival. I guess she arrived after all the novice leters had been shipped? Cause the ship she arrived in would have to return to the mainland, and it could be the ship that was used to deliver the lettes. Unless Nornui uses pigeons for that, but I really doubt it cause it takes weeks to get to Nornui by ship
