Thoughts on Tale Foundry?
Hi everyone! I was recently browsing a bunch of worldbuilding videos when I came across a series of videos by Tale Foundry, which I clicked on because of the creative art. I watched a few, and thought they were pretty good, especially in term of capturing niche feelings and tones in writing. However, I want to ask, what do you think about them?
I ask mainly because I notice that, in terms of worldbuilding magic, TaleFoundry seems to lean strongly towards having magic be unexplained, and viewing that as the only real form of magic worldbuilding. This is contrasted against writers like Sanderson who usually have very complex and well thought out magic systems.
Thanks in advance for all your opinions and thoughts!
