Whats the General consesus on Memento post INFO?
I've been following along with this deck since it came out in VASM and with INFO being so close now I wanted to know thr generally opinion on Memento. It started as a extremely bad deck that showed potential through a hint at the ED through Creation and slowly we got Teo more support waves. Ghattic which reinforced the idea that the deck was getting what it needed through recycling milled material and then eventually an archtypal fusion which, for all things considered, is incredibly strong, and our first fusion monster twin dragon which was what we really needed to finally get out name out there. Being something able to get key monsters to the hand and reviving a monster for combing.
Right now it's a rogue at best deck heavily reliant on Cranium burst to be a threat but now with INFO we have sheep who is a quick fusion card and can recycle and the main card that seems to be in the hot seat Combined Conquerer. Who helps fixes alot of the core issues of the deck. Our field wasn't ever the greatest but still needed so they made CC2 able to search it. It's a costly three monster fusion but they made it so you can foolish three monsters in return. Finally there is its destructive power that can combine with Ghattic/Tri-horn for a great amount of destruction interruption. We still don't have in archtype negates or protection besides goblins anti targeting ability which is usually ignored for Mace's change of heart.
With CC2 and sheep the deck seemed to jump to teir 2 in the OCG and outshines Centaur-ion in most lists/reports but I keep seeing mix messages. I keep hearing it's the best of VASM now, that Centaur-ion is still better, and the one I can't agree with less, that Combined Conquerer is over tuned. I disagree with it because cards like Fenrir, Phantom of Yubel, and Poplar and similar cards still exist. So for the end of this long question, what is your opinions on where Memento or even the rest of the Valinet Smasher crews land in today's meta game
