Can we discuss the bird-flu podcast? (it's dark)

I can't stop thinking about this because it is adding a whole new level of complexity!
AW goes into detail about how the bird flu is being purposely spread.
With workers knowingly (or unknowingly planted) releasing it near chickens.
Why on earth would they want to kill birds, ESPECIALLY chickens?!
I understand how keeping humans sick and confused is very beneficial to those at the top.
But a big part of keeping humans sick is keeping humans eating eggs.
This is not only preventing humans from eating eggs (which will make them healthier)
But it is potentially destroying the entire food chain and making the earth unlivable very very fast.
If our wild birds die, our insects take over crops.
Or is that the grand plan, to kill all non-gmo crops?
But then why not just release it in the wild?
These are the questions that have been swirling in my head.
Curious about y'all take on all of this.
