I’m trans, do you hate me because of it?
With everything going on in the world lately, my life has been shit. I'm not even 100% out publicly, just in my safe circles. I'm disheartened with humanity. Everyone seems to hate me and my friends for extremely silly and baseless reasons. I have to ask, if you don't like the trans community, why? Because every take I've seen has been absolute shit. A lot that I see are:
"They just shove it in your face" I hate this argument so much. I could rebut with "I hate when men act so manly in public, they're basically shoving their manliness down our throats" see what I mean? If you think this I want you to take a deep long look at yourself and ask if a person expressing their identity is actually a problem or if you just have a problem with people different than you.
"They're grooming the children" Wtf? Where does this even come from? Most of my transgender brethren are minors themselves. I've never heard anything about this other than pta moms being enraged about any non traditional views being taught in school.
"Trans women are trying to trick us" If you say this you don't get pussy anyways
Edit: “You aren’t what you feel—you are what you are.”
This statement assumes gender is purely biological, ignoring medical, psychological, and historical evidence that gender identity is real and valid. If God created people with unique identities, then being transgender isn’t rejecting His design—it’s embracing it. Science, history, and basic human compassion all affirm that transgender people exist and deserve respect. Dismissing their identity as just “feelings” is both inaccurate and harmful.
Anyways, I'm just so confused about the hate towards me and my peers. The trans community is just chilling being themselves, and somehow people hate that. The concept is literally being yourself in the purest form, abolishing and abridging gender norms.
Edit 2: I've gotten all the answers I need, what it seems to me is all the bigots are Christians citing the Bible. I keep hearing the argument "I don't hate you but I don't agree with your way of life". If I said "I don't agree with the Jewish way of life, but I can't hate you because of my religion" I'd sound like a fucking Nazi. This reminds me of a video I had watched where a black guy interviewed the leader of the KKK. He was well mannered and hid his beliefs in dog whistles such as my example. If you didn't know he was the leader of the KKK im sure many people would be tolerant of him. It seems like the Bible is the problem. I grew up going to church and studying the teachings of Christ. I agree with his teachings, very much so. I left the church because of the hypocrisy, people saying to love thy neighbor yet they hurt the people whom I love. This is all to say that if you're a Christian that says that you don't agree with me because of the Bible , you're the bigot, you're the problem. I ended up coming to the conclusion that the Bible was made up, and a product of its time, but i still keep it close and abide by it wholeheartedly.
TL;DR: I'm just a chill guy but lowkey Christians hate my swag
