The shield-break perks really need to be consolidated

At this current time (in perk release order), we have

Disruption break: Breaking an enemy's shield with this weapon makes them more vulnerable to Kinetic damage for a brief period

Genesis: Breaking a combatant's shield with this weapon fills its magazine from reserves. Energy weapons regenerate ammo on hit when matching the damage type to the combatant's shield.

Shield Disorient: Energy matched shield explosion disorients nearby combatants

Adaptive Munitions: This weapon adapts its damage output and effectiveness against energy shields that don't match the weapon's damage type

Turnabout: Using this weapon to break the shield of a combatant or a Guardian using their Super will grant you an overshield

Under-Over: Deals bonus damage to targets with overshields. Deals a small amount of bonus damage to combatant shields

I think taking this from 6 total to 4 would be a huge upgrade. While I understand Shield Disorient has been retired as a trait and is now functionally rolled into GoS's Phototinhibition origin trait, and that Bungie basically never replaces perks on weapons, but I think there is a very strong case to be made that it should be done for Shield Disorient. (Note, it's also on Jotunn) Having less of them would also make them much, MUCH more interesting when they could be combined- it's somewhat the case nowadays, but it falls off harder every update

DB: This perk is relatively unique from the others and can stay as-is

Genesis: One of the two candidates for SD to be put onto. Thematic to its shield-breaking mechanic. While still useable in a post-match game world, it's somewhat dated, and Genesis could use a buff. (also gives Arbalest some love) The only note here is that there are some older weapons with Genesis and Shield Disorient in different columns and would need special attention for perk replacement.

SD: axed. rolled into one of the two options

AM: The other candidate for SD to be put onto. This perk was basically made for Match Game, and frankly doesn't have a place in the game anymore, and has even been overshadowed by Under-Over on everything nowadays. This perk need more help than genesis does, and even having SD rolled into this is just the GoS origin trait but with a slightly higher damage boost, so more would need to be done to separate the two. Thematic to the weapon adapting to the targets shield: damage boost when unmatched, disorients on shieldbreak when matched

Turnabout: This perk should be rolled into Under-Over's functionality. While an interesting concept, this perk never really took off. Having its effects also be overshield related makes it a perfect candidate to be rolled into Under-Over. Notably, both of their names are thematically based around reversing/flipping an interaction. Note, similar issue to Genesis/SD where if combined special cases would need to be made for the weapons that roll the two combined perks in different columns. There's also an argument to be made here the perk should give a Void overshield as opposed to just a generic one, as generic overshields have largely been removed out of the game, however being a subclass verb would mean it would need to be relooked at on non-void weapons.

Under-Over: See above. Should absorb Turnabout; This perk was always decent but niche, and this extra functionality would be a great fit to push it into fantastic perk territory

(P.S. Mulligan and Hidden hand should also be consolidated, it's insane they're two separate perks in the first place; there is also zero weapon overlap between the two perks, and it would still be a bad perk afterwards)

EDIT: after thinking on it you could triple combine genesis, adaptive munitions and shield disorient into ONE perk and it would be fine lol
