Do I still keep my phone number if I downgraded my prepaid $50/month plan to the "Unlimited Mobile Internet with up to 2GB of 5G & 4G LTE Data $10/month"? I just plan to use my phone for verification codes.

I will be paying $10 per month for the lowest plan. Do I still keep my phone number if I am not using it? I left the U.S. and want to keep my number. It’s connected to my eSIM.
