A deepwater submarine simulator kind of game for PC

New holiday update is causing lag/freezing issues even if I just idle in the main menu. I didn’t experience this in the past updates. I’d prefer if I could revert the update but I don’t know if that’s possible.

Ever since I updated to the holiday update, my PC is lagging and freezes a bit then resumes. The past events and updates were fine and didn’t cause issues at all. I also installed the latest driver for Nvidia. What could be the issue?
