You are right, our leaders aren’t backing us and so many of our friends and family are acting like we are alarmists or are “crazy”. I’m terrified! The sky is falling fast! I’m disabled, I’m a 47 yr old woman, they have no use for me here. I don’t have a passport. I should have done more to prepare for this. I don’t know how to find refuge in other countries. Will anyone take us? It’s not even safe to fly right now. I feel trapped and I can’t believe how many people do not believe what is going on!

Feel sad for people like you that have a lot to loose. However, I am still hopeful that this is just a period of time that will somehow disipate and will be just remembered as a sad time in the American history. Don't loose hope. I still trust there are more good people than bad ones

No idea why my account can be considered a burner account. I just use reddit to read others' posts. I am not American but, as I pointed out, what happens in a country as strong as yours is going to have global consecuences. It is disturbing and hard to believe this is happening in a country like US.
