Need advice! I have in-laws coming over tonight and I am cooking skirt steak and chicken breast. I have never been able to get the timing and heat correct when cooking food with differing temperature requirements. I have the 36" griddle. Any hints or suggestions?

Isn't it great when everything you've been told is questioned because of one person's comment? From an older post from a scientist, I just read, "don't use water on a hot griddle to clean it. (not needed.) the thermal shock can induce cracking/peeling." WTH! Is this true? I use water for clean up.

Commercial subcontractor here - Architect is calling for fire treated plywood to raise the subfloor around 1/2" over existing concrete substrate. Is this possible or even the best option? It is a suite in a corporate office high rise. I would like to advise them that this is not a proper option.

Has anyone found a mouthpiece for the Pivot that allows for cooling of vapor without using water? I can't take more than one big rip because it feels too hot and I end up coughing. Do any of the available pieces actually provide enough length to allow for cooling?

I know there has to be an easy way to carry four 3/8" 12"x24" porcelain tiles. What can I keep with me that I can turn into a strap with a handle? Seems like there should be a boyscout method out there. Any one know of a hack to carry heavy items, to make a strap/bag with handle out of something?

I just got pearls for my Pivot but I have to pull harder than I'd prefer to get them spinning. I am thinking of replacing the mouthpiece with glass, not a rig just as the mouthpiece. Will this help get them spinning? Increase airflow? Any recommendations?

I've been using my griddle for over a year now and I have some flaking when I scrape for clean up or even at hot temps like for smash burgers or skirt steak. Do I need to sand the one area that is flaking? Should I avoid putting oil in that spot after cooking and cleaning?

For 2025, I am going for quality over quantity because I am vaping oil far too often. So I bought the Pivot planning to not vape at all during the day and only use concentrate later on. I'm thinking I can pick up a dhv so I have a little variety.
